It felt like Kim was an angel sent from above to help at a time that I needed this the most. We spend an intense 3 days sorting the house starting with the kitchen which took a whole day. I can’t explain how I instantly felt so much calmer and lighter in the space and now actually enjoy spending time in a room I used to hate being in! We then tackled the living room off the kitchen to create a play area for my 17 month old and he now has a wonderful space to enjoy after living his whole life in chaos. As the house is being renovated it has never felt important enough to make the space as nice as possible for us to live in and even whilst the chaos goes on around us but working with Kim really made me realise just how important your home environment is and how much it was affecting my mental health living amongst so much stuff. Kim is supportive without being pushy but she really inspires you to make positive changes and I now feel determined to tackle the rest of the house. Kim encouraged me to put stuff straight in the car boot so that there was no excuse but to go straight to the charity shop and she even booked in furniture collections for me to ensure that bulky items will be out of the ASAP. Can’t thank Kim enough she is super passionate and genuine about wanting to help people live their best lives.

It's a great joy that the dining area is free of all that clutter.
I would never have achieved what we have without your help.

This family needed a comfortable space, which was safe for their toddler to play in during the day and relaxing in the evenings.
We cleared the clutter and created toy storage areas and a bookcase for their son's books and games. The play area was re-organised so toys could be played with on a rotation system, but were easily accessible when needed. The TV unit was repurposed to store stationary and we bought plants into the room to raise it's vibrations.
Previously the landing had been used as a storage area, due to renovations on the second floor. We sorted through everything and a lot was donated or re-homed. I arranged for a charity furniture collection to take away the wardrobe and other surplus furniture in the house. The space is now clear and so visual noise no longer adds to the family's stress during an already unsettled time.
This client felt overwhelmed with the task of decluttering her home, but together we were able to make a big difference, starting in her living room.
We decluttered and organised paperwork, piles or ironing and crafting materials, tapes, CD's, videos and DVD's. It was a tiring day for the client, but with my support she was able to challenge her thinking and prioritise the space she needed for her mental wellbeing. By the end of the day, she was really pleased with the difference we'd made.
In this dining room, my client really needed the table clear to eat at and do her crafting, which she loves. The floor around the table had become cluttered too and so we wanted to make the space safer to be in and usable again.
We spent a day re-homing items and evaluating what really needed to be kept, the rest was donated or recycled. We were able to fit more into the storage units, freeing up space for the items my client needed to access regularly, creating the safe and usable space she desired.
In my client’s kitchen, the surfaces were cluttered with little space for food preparation. The cupboards were full and needed a good sort out.
Usually I would get everything out and declutter and organise as we put back. However to avoid overwhelm, with this client I felt it best to do all the surfaces first, then use them to lay out all items bit by bit.
The client let go of three large boxes to the charity shop, two boxes to recycling and some items were binned (mainly things which were out of date or past their useful life).
The result was a much clearer kitchen, more space to prepare food, the client knows what she has and where it all is.
My client’s utility/storage room was cluttered and difficult to use. Lots of things which belonged outside were stored there. I asked about what storage she had in her garden and we had a quick sort out of her outdoor storage box. Thankfully, this proved really useful and gave us the space we needed to make the utility usable.
We moved the drawer unit over to store standing items such as her broom and mop neatly and cleared enough to create useable surfaces.
From a cluttered and difficult to use room, to an easy to access, usable space which my client knows exactly what she has and where it is.
The WC was also cluttered with things which belonged outside, so when we moved those and cleared out what was no longer required, there was more space to display the things she needed.
